Thank you to everyone who spent their time and effort participating in tryouts this week. Everyone worked really hard and gave their best effort. IMPORTANT INFORMATION, PLEASE READ!!!
The following people are on trainer Mike's list as not having turned in a physical.

You will not be allowed to practice until that is turned in to him. If you have these at home, pleaase bring them to me ASAP!!!!
I will also be sending home a couple of forms that you will need to fill out and turn back into me as soon as possible. He has to have these on file as well.
Please take care of this as soon as possible. We will practice tomorrow at 3 at the church. Everyone needs to be there, even if you don't have a physical, to watch because a new dance is being taught tomorrow. Also, don't forget to bring your money for Varsity, and Poms. Warm ups should be in by the end of the week but I will not give them out until everyone has paid.
Shoes will be ordered this week as well. I am going to Spelz to check on this. Skorts will also be purchased for those who don't have one.

Practice on Thursday
You all did a great job at practice yesterday. I think this is going to be a great season. Don't forget to continue to work on band dances. We need to look really sharp at the football games. We will be practicing at the church again on Thursday. Practice will be from 3 - 5. Don't forget to bring your money for Poms on Thursday. Hope everyone is having a great first week of school.

Updates on Practice and Money Due
Hi girls! Just wanted to make sure everyone knows that practice will be at Pleasant Hights Baptist Church on Tuesday from 3:00 to 5:00. I will let you know about Thursday then. We will be working really hard to get ready for this season the next few weeks. Hope everyone is excited and ready to go for the season.

Varsity Payment of $100 needs to be made by 8/11/2009.
Poms payment of $40 needs to be made by 8/6/2009.
Warm up payment of $60 needs to be made by 8/27/2009.
We will be ordering shoes very soon. Hopefully a decision will be made on Tuesday about shoes.

PARENT MEETING ON THURSDAY, 7/30/2009 AT 6:00 PM
There will be a dance team parent meeting in my room #139 at CHS on Thursday, 7/30/09 at 6:00 pm. We will be discussing practice sites for this year as well as fundraising ideas. This will be great time for us to discuss concerns that have come up about practice locations for this year. Please tell your parents about this meeting.

Physicals for the Year
If you have not gotten your physical for this year you need to do so soon. Freshemen remember you have to have the well child physcial which your doctor should be able to do for you.
All other dancers, the bone and joint clinic will be giving free physicals on Monday, July 20th. I will have to check on the time. This is a good and easy way to get your physical taken care of for the year.

DATES AND TIMES OF SUMMER INTENSIVES
Hi girls,
Sorry I haven't updated anything lately. I have been out of town for most of the month of June. The dates and times for summer intensives are listed below:
*July 10th 11am - 3pm
*July 13th 11am - 3pm
*July 17th 11am - 3pm
*July 24th 11am - 3pm
Also, any money that you owe for summer camp should be brought on July 10th. Checks should be made out to Whitman's Dance Company for $50.00.
For those getting new uniforms, the first payment for Varsity will also be due on July 10th. The amount will be $100.00.
We will discuss other payments for shoes at the first intensive.
